NBA Lagos Welfare Committee Set to unwind lawyers with Comedy Night

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, Welfare Committee is set to give members an opportunity to relax, connect and unwind as it hosts a special Comedy Night as part of activities marking this year’s Welfare Conference.

The event, scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, Lagos, will begin at 5:00 p.m.

The Welfare Committee said the comedy evening is designed to provide members with a refreshing break from the demands of legal practice while promoting friendship, mental wellness, fitness and the importance of laughter.

With the theme centred on going “Beyond the Wig,” the event promises an evening of entertainment, laughter and networking, featuring popular comedians MC G.O. and Ajebo as hosts.

The committee urged NBA Lagos members and other participants in the Welfare Conference to take advantage of the opportunity to relax and enjoy an evening of fun and camaraderie.

It also advised interested participants to register early, noting that seats are limited.
The Comedy Night forms part of the broader activities of the 2026 NBA Lagos Welfare Conference, which seeks to promote the well-being and welfare of legal practitioners beyond their professional responsibilities
