2026 NBA-SPIDEL Conference: Registration opens for gathering at Umuahia

The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) has announced the commencement of registration for its 2026 annual conference scheduled to hold in Umuahia, Abia State.

The conference, themed: IN PUBLIC INTEREST: Advancing Justice, Democracy and Development will take place at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, from Nov. 10 to Nov. 13, 2026.

According to the organisers, Nov. 9, 2026, has been designated as the arrival and pre-conference day for participants.

The conference is expected to bring together lawyers, judges, academics, policymakers, civil society actors and other stakeholders to deliberate on critical issues affecting public interest, development and the legal profession in Nigeria.




NBA-SPIDEL has therefore urged lawyers and other interested participants to register early to secure their participation at the four-day event.
