BREAKING: Lagos activist released from Police custody after 8 hours of arrest

A Lagos based radical activist Chief Malcom Omirhobo has been released from custody of the police in Abuja after he staged a lone protest over the
recent killing of 43 farmers in Borno Nigeria..

The lawyer who spoke with Triplenet LAWPARLIAMENT minutes after his release , said that one thing is certain for him, I HAVE PASSED MY MESSAGE.

According to him, the aim of his lone protest was simply to call Government to order and draw its consciousness to the increasing worrisome wanton disregard for safety of lives in the country.

Omirhobo said that he believes that things should be in their right norm adding that Nigeria as a nation, deserves to be a country free from all forms of violence and insecurity.

He said that there at the police station his statement was taken and after the police had gone through, he was taken to the CP and eventually released on Bail, with the reason that they found nothing incriminating.

"I came out of custody at about 7p.m. yesterday" he said

LawParliament reports that Omirhobo is renowned for his numerous lawsuits instituted against both the federal and state government as well as several institutions.

He is also crusader of the Malcolm Omirhobo Foundation which is a non governmental Organisation lending voice to the voiceless of the society.

At the time of filing this report, Omirhobo is set to return to Lagos.
