Fireworks, displays as Nigerians usher in new administration

Fireworks and displays were held on Sunday night to , usher in a new administration in Nigeria.

The fireworks which rent the air from the Millenium Tower in Abuja was a scene to behold.

Some Nigerians, who, gathered at the Tower, admired the coloured flames and sparks that came with combination of different colours.

The display lited up the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to the admiration of viewers, who defied the odd hour to be part of history.

The fireworks display is part of activities lined up to usher in a new government to be led by the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu.

The presidential inauguration activities commenced with a World Press Conference on May 18 to climax with the Inauguration Parade and Swearing-in on May 29.

The president-elect and the Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima would be taking their Oath of Office at the Eagle Square Abuja.

This will be followed by a post inauguration luncheon for the President, presidents of other countries present, Heads of Government and invited guests.

The luncheon will bring a close to the 11 day inauguration activities, while, the newly sworn-in president and vice president would settle-in to the business of governance
